One Pot Taco Spaghetti

Everybody knows that there is a large Mexican population in North America. As a result, we get lots of delicious Mexican joints all around the country. Nothing can compare to a fresh and crunchy taco with delicious guac and salsa. Pair that with a Corona and you’ve got yourself a summer meal!

Italian food is just as good, if not better. Now, what if you could combine Italian-style food with Mexican flavors? You can! This one pot taco spaghetti is a hearty meal for when you’re craving both Mexican and Italian.

How to make One Pot Taco Spaghetti?

In a large skillet, cook onion, garlic, and ground beef. Break the beef up and cook until brown.

Drain the excess fat from the skillet.

Add taco seasoning, tomatoes, and water to the skillet. Mix.

Add spaghetti to the skillet and bring to a boil.

Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer on low heat for 12-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Remove the lid and let the excess liquid evaporate.

Take the skillet off the heat.
Add some shredder cheddar cheese and cover the skillet with the lid to allow the cheese to melt.

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Is one pot taco spaghetti a diet dish?

By no means is this taco spaghetti a diet dish. In fact, it is quite high in calories. However, don’t let that stop you from enjoying it. It’s ok to have a cheat meal once in a while. As long as you don’t eat this taco spaghetti for every meal, you should be good.
