Dutch Apple Bread

Everybody has heard of banana bread. We’ve all tried to make it in quarantine! Now, what about apple bread? It’s time for banana bread to step away while this apple bread recipe takes over! If you like apple pie, you’re going to love this dutch apple bread recipe. It is fragrant, delicious, and filled with apple and nut bites.

This apple bread will make a great dessert or breakfast for anyone. You can pack it as a snack and take it to work or bring it to your friend’s housewarming party. Take it with you on road trips and snack on this delicious dessert whenever you feel like it.

How to make Dutch Apple Bread?

Whisk sugar and butter until they are creamy.

Add eggs, milk, and vanilla to the sugar mixture and whisk.

Add baking powder, salt, and flour to the mix.

Add your apples and nuts, and toss the mixture.

To make your topping, combine cold butter, flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon.

Line a 10x4x3-inch baking pan with parchment paper and pour the dough in it.

Sprinkle the topping on top.

Bake for 55-60 minutes at 350 F degrees.

Cool on a rack.

Mix melted butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create the glaze.

Pour it on top of the bread.
